Morgan Fairchild was born Patsy Anne McClenny on February 3, 1950. She is an American actor. The actress gained fame from late 1970s until the the early 1980s when she appeared on numerous television shows that usually reflected a glamorous look. Fairchild launched her acting career in 1973-77 during the run of CBS' Search for Tomorrow show, a daytime soap that starred Jennifer Pace. After appearing in Dallas in which she played Jenna Wade as the very first actress in primetime and then moved to the NBC program Flamingo Road. For this part, she received with a Golden Globe Award in 1980 for Best Actress for a Television Series - Drama. In 1984 she costarred in ABC's short-lived primetime soap Paper Dolls. From 1985 until 1986, Fairchild was the lawyer Jordan Roberts on Falcon Crest. Fairchild is also a performer in theatre and has played in a variety of TV comedy shows, including Murphy Brown, for which she was awarded a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor in Comedy Series. Fairchild is also an SAG-AFTRA board members.
