Paula Patton is an actress and producer well-known for her leading roles in the action film Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol as well as the dramatic film Precious. Her early years were spent living in Los Angeles where she came from a middle class family. Her parents were a loving mother, who was a fan of films. Paula loved participating in school co-curricular activities and she was a huge fan of drama. She loved being in stage shows with her friends. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School produced a number of plays. The actor decided that acting was the career she wanted to pursue. She enjoyed her summer at University of Southern California. She was awarded a three-month project producing documentaries on behalf of PBS. The first assignment was to be production assistant for television documentaries, after completing her project. Next, she was going to start producing documentaries. Although she enjoyed the work she was doing but she was always wishing for acting roles. in the film romantic comedy Hitch she played a tiny part alongside Will Smith. Since then, she has been in numerous films as well as TV series.
